Myca & Nathan // Wyoming

In all of my communication with Myca leading up to her wedding she kept coming back to one thing. She wanted to be in the moment for this day. She had recently packed up her life and moved from Boston to Sheridan, Wyoming to be with Nathan so this was the culmination of a lot sacrifice and long distance phone calls.

I arrived in Sheridan the day before the wedding and dropped by their house to say hello. Instantly I was struck by the passion Myca had for the smallest details. The design of her bouquet was absolutely incredible.

On the day of the wedding we met for coffee at 6 am, strapped on our hiking boots and headed for the mountains. I’m a firm believer that a wedding day can be anything that feels right to the couple. It doesn’t need to fit into a mold or box. This felt right.

Most of the day I just tried to stay out of the way and capture some of the chemistry between these two. There was more than enough to go around.
