New Workspace

From the beginning this workspace has been designed to be a place where the creative process can thrive.   Keeping things simple and clean was a huge priority for me.  The ability to clear the room out for workshops, work on framing prints, or just host some late night creative sessions was always in my mind while designing the setup.

I selected a few of my favorite prints ( you must check out my friend Micah’s work at The Old Try ) and goods ( from my favorite barbershop and friends at Hudson Hawk Barbers ) from people that inspire me with their hard work and creativity.  They serve as a reminder to push myself to create new work that is lasting and timeless.

As part of a commitment to making more tangible art I’m also opening a Print Shop (announcement coming Monday) that will contain ready to hang, framed artwork from my travels.  Having a place to get my hands dirty and touch the prints and frames has totally changed my thoughts on printing my work.  Getting work off of my hard drive and into your hands will be a huge staple of what I do moving forward.

If you’re in the area I’d love for you to stop by.  I envision this being a place where friends can drop in and work, create, or just bounce ideas off the walls.  Don’t be shy y’all.

If you have questions on certain pieces of the studio or want to pick my brain, feel free to use the comments below and I’ll get back to you ASAP.

Awesome space Christian. Would love to come check it out next time I’m in town, I’ll get the first round at Ebbett’s! And we have the perfect space to put up a print… count me in on that!
